Legacy ISO Patcher
Applies .kh2patch patches to an ISO disc image of Kingdom Hearts 2 without modifying the original.
Download: ISO Patcher
Requires:
- .NET Framework 4.0+
The input for all patches on this page should be an unmodified Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix ISO
with an MD5 hash of 1BD351E1DF9FC5D783D8318010D17F03
.
The patcher can calculate and check the MD5 hash if hash is entered when prompted.
Step-by-step Example
- Place an unmodified ISO and the desired .kh2patch files in the same directory as the patcher.
- Rename the ISO to KH2FM.iso.
- Select and drag all of the patches onto the patcher at one time. The patcher should show some details for each patch.
- Press Enter to begin patching.
- Wait for it to complete, as it will take some time; it’s complete when it prompts to exit.
The output ISO is named KH2FM.new.iso.
Common Issues
- Warning: This ISO has the size of a dual-layer ISO, but it isn’t one.
- The output ISO is larger than a single-layer DVD and cannot be burned to a physical disc. It should work correctly otherwise, such as with Open PS2 Loader and PCSX2.
- Files included multiple times
- The specified game files are modified by multiple patches. This may or may not be intended by the patch authors.
- The output ISO is smaller than 3 GiB and won’t boot.
- Verify the input ISO matches the expected hashes and that the patch files are not corrupted.
Translation
Translates the game into English, with some other non-game-breaking changes. Originally based on Xeeynamo’s patch, it’s now largely based on the HD collection’s translations.
